Game Changers Gear

Overview

Game Changers Gear sells custom baseball and softball uniforms to teams at every level, from pro and college down to rec league. They needed an online presence that could present the product range, take detailed team orders, and collect a deposit, without a hosted commerce subscription or a framework build to maintain.

The Challenge

Custom uniform orders carry a lot of detail: team colors, rosters, sizing, sport-specific cuts, and the old process ran on back-and-forth email. The site needed to show the range clearly, walk a team through a structured order, and take a production deposit, on a budget that ruled out a hosted commerce platform.

The Solution

A hand-built static site: plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, no framework and no bundler, so it loads instantly and costs almost nothing to run. Order and quote forms post to a Google Apps Script endpoint that logs each submission to a Google Sheet and emails the shop, which becomes their order queue. A PayPal link collects the production deposit. Deployed on Netlify.
